We tailor our services to fit your particular needs, but we provide cost-effective service by using proven approaches for various aspects of your financial plan.
We believe financial planning is a continuous process rather than a one-time event. Consequently, many clients benefit by establishing an on-going relationship. This approach allows us to work through important issues and make changes over time.
Comprehensive Financial Planning
A plan begins with your goals and objectives. We then evaluate how to best achieve your goals through a coordinated review of your cash flow, taxes, assets, and liabilities. Competing goals are evaluated using sophisticated financial models based on your personal situation.
It is not unusual for a client to have a specific question or need that can be handled without the need for on-going service. As we charge for all of our services based on the complexity of the situation and number of areas in which we offer advice, we can accommodate those needs. Typical questions are:
- Should I consider a lump-sum payment option from my employer’s retirement plan?
- How can I create a well-organized investment plan?
- How should we save for the education of our children?
Investments are the means to help you achieve financial planning goals by providing cash that can be spent in the future. We generally prefer to make recommendations on your entire portfolio. Our independence allows us to advise you on assets held at any financial institution or in employer plans, such as 401(k) and 403(b) accounts.
Planning provides a roadmap for future activities. A plan can tell you where you are going and help you to realize your dreams.
